Craigslist seems to be by and large, useless for the space i'm looking for.
We have three people involved, looking to stay $150/month each or less.
Need space for 3 cars minimum, with enough space to work on said cars.
Where do i look? Or alternatively, anyone in the area have something for us?
Around me, throw a rock and see what you hit with this economy.
$450 a month doesn't sound unreasonable. contact a industrial real-estate agent, I'm sure they could figure something out on the cheap
I found a 30x30 locally, but they wanted $650. That's not going to fly.
Thanks for the tip, i will give that a shot. Will real estate agents deal with renting space, though? We aren't interested in buying.
Try the classified's in the local paper.

Try putting out your own add yet?

Was just about to try that... but there doesn't seem to be a suitable "section" on CL for that. When i click "post" i'm directed to choose between "offering" or "needing." If i pick "needing," my choices are "apts wanted," "real estate wanted," "room/share wanted," and "sublet/temp wanted."
Guess i'll go under real estate.
Does your CL have a section called Housing? Mine has Housing, then a Parking/Storage category.

Yep, it does, and there's a parking/storage category, but there's no way to go through their "wanted" posting logic and get into Parking/Storage. Unless i lie and say that i'm selling.

When I needed garage space in CA, I just told all my friends. Found a space at a great price through a friend of a friend in about a month's time. For some reason, though, word of mouth works really well for me. YMMV.
