6 Crackpot Conspiracy Theories (That Actually Happened)
Cracked is a pretty funny website. Turns out they are better than Mad Magazine, on the web at least.
The thread about the 401k seizure and a email from a friend about the bird deaths in Arkansas brought conspiracy theories to the top of my head.
Then I read that article. Pretty wild!
I'm a big fan of Cracked. Well-written, with a love of profanity that aligns pretty well with my own fondness for a well-turned curse. And it's just plain funny.

On a side note, I'm totally buying this (and then acting like it was a gift for my bff):

I haven't read that mag in years, it's time to become friends again.
Thanks for the link.

I have to admit Margie. They surprise me. They post something like this. I'm reading it thinking "This is crap or at the very least over blown stories that they're exaggerating for affect." Then, they cite their source and I'm blown away!
I'm a fan of their style as well. I like the filthy mouthed internet nerd voice the use for tone.
They're usually really informative, and for the stuff I already knew, they're almost always correct. The only biology error I've spotted was them confusing smilodon and thylacosmilus (a sabertooth cat and a marsupial that looked like a sabertooth cat.)

You know how we know you're a nerd?
And, Cracked is awesome!
Hum. Not sure about that site, but there certainly have been some wild things in the past. Who knows similar things aren't going on?

Cracked the magazine was pretty much a second rate MAD ripoff, but when they went online and aimed for a more adult audience, they've become a lot better.

Yeah, it took me a couple years to realize it was the same organization. I didn't think they were related at all.
One of my favorite sayings: "Just because you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you!"

Love that web site, OP you posted one of their links a few months ago.
I've been reading and checking out old articles ever since.

[smirk] And that was your first hint?
MAD magazine won the magazine war- Cracked hasn't been published in magazine form for quite a while now- but Cracked.com totally wins the internet...
watch some of their "Agents of Cracked" videos if you want or need a good laugh- and make sure you try to keep track of the head dude's eye patch....
hm.. looks like Cracked is on the "naughty places on the internet" list on the company network.. so while i'm waiting for the machine to run the parts, i can look on Craigslist for a different job but i can't look at funny stuff.
