Just wanted to drop a few pictures here from the Turkey Bowl at Summit Point yesterday. It was rather chilly Saturday after crappy weather on Friday, so from what I understand attendance was down from last year, but there were still some nice cars out there!

My wife had the good camera, so I had the "kid" camera, and the battery wasn't loving the cold, so the pictures aren't great, and I didn't get them for most of the classes while running, but here they are.

There were 3 vintage groups, a pack of Legends cars, and the "modern" class (appeared to be anything newer than around 1980). Nice lineup, but I think there's something on the lens... it wasn't that foggy! From 2010 November 28 VRG Turkey The Corvette driver also appeared to have a Porsche GT3, that he ran for one set of warmups, then he ran this in the race. Another "what car is this"? From 2010 November 28 VRG Turkey

Drove my Father-in-Law's 911 up - he didn't tell me it didn't have the heater boxes in until we had been on the road for 20 miles...

There were some other cool cars there (a beautiful GT6 and MG-GT in the paddock) and a Lola(?) prototype car that absolutely ran away with the Prototypes (and Star Mazda) class.

Thanks!

I wanted to be there with my Spridget racer, but my family said otherwise!

Lots of my friends there.....I recognise most of the cars.

The silver "378" is a Peerless GT. It's powered by a Triumph engine (TR4, I think).

The "what car" is a Daimler SP250 Dart with a 2.5 liter hemi (there is a current posting here about a similar car that is being restored).

Here's a closer shot of that Daimler, where you can see the little hemi.

Wow, they even remembered to crop them before uploading!

It was a fun day (even if I should have packed some warmer socks!).

Thanks for the car IDs.
