The news has been going crazy with all the ways your home will kill you and such. They just had a story on the news where so far no break in the gas line has been found but a water main was broken. They led the story with "Could water have sparked Wednesday's deadly explosion?"
I found it interesting that some of the cast iron gas piping dated to 1887. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
