they have been tearing them out of NJ for years. Apparently the rules are so nebulous in NJ about them, they have decided to do away with them once and for all.
In NJ, major roads into an intersection have right of way, but which is the main road into a roundabout? The secondary is that you yield to vehicles on the right, which basically means that people tend to stop or yield going into one, and then stop or yield to those entering.. if they stop or yield at all.
Add to that the occasional late night drunk who takes the "short cut" across...
