Many other groups were deemed "undesirable" and were killed. I'm beginning to become upset at the use of the Holocaust to describe a struggle of oppression. Completely different story here.
For the record, how many of you bothered to search google? Here is a map that pretty much tells the story. Uganda is light red under under the bright red nation of Sudan in eastern Africa.
The funniest part here to me after reading this entire thread, 100% of the nations who punish homosexuality with DEATH are not even christian. As I said last page, there are 196 nations, 83 outlaw homosexuality, and a solid majority of the world doesn't allow it but doesn't criminalize it. So why all the outrage over Uganda?

Because we just watched it happen?
There's always more than enough wrong with the world to overwhelm anybody, but what's happening at any given moment is understandably toward the top of the heap.

India recently reinstated its ban and there wasn't really any press on it. This one is just an attempt to sway public opinion and distract us from other things.

Yep.... Why are these guys worked up about Uganda and not Nigeria... Or for heavens sakes... Sudan...
Of all the things in Africa.. and all the good Christians do in Africa.. Why is Uganda the talking point?

North Sudan executes those suspected of being gay....South Sudan(the christian separatists) idk for sure. Just pointing out it isn't an issue directly related to the one religion.

This is what I tell people in one way or another when they argue for re-making America's mistakes with a different minority group.
