Bill thanks for the update and the pictures. I woke up today with a smile thinking about the good work you're doing there. I showed the kids the pictures last night, and shared it with a nurse friend of mine who was especially upset after hearing about Russia attacking hospitals. Thanks for being an encouragement as well as the amazing work for the refugees.

Also, I couldnt help but notice TurnerX19's gallery advertisement made it on to the Kisgorbo page as well, I think maybe Mr. Kozma has visited this thread.

I would happily accept, but only if everyone who donated joins me on stage to share in the recognition, and they have to let me buy them beers/beverages (multiple) of their choice afterwards

This is a good thing we're doing and I'm glad it got brought to our attention.  I'm hoping to visit the place at least once monthly to get updates and to see what else needs doing.  I'll do my best to keep you all posted!

I posted the sign below at my gallery show Friday morning and had two people react to it, one of Hungarian descent. I suspect both will be contributing from their attitudes.

There is sometimes, but there are Hungarian speaking areas of Ukraine and most students speak english as well.  I had meant to ask Mayor Kozma when I visited but the question got buried in all that was going on.

Here in Papa, we were lucky that we had Hungarian speakers.  I saw a post on FB saying 800 people were expected to arrive at the train station in Budapest, and they were still looking for an interpreter.

Pictures were posted on the Kisgorbo page today.  Here's the first arrivals in the new shelter you helped fund!

We have a couple hundred thousand HUF cued up in our Paypal that will be headed their way in about a week as well.

The pictures of the little girls playing and the lady getting her hair done really hit me. And the lady cooking what I'm certain is comfort food. The little luxuries that we often take for granted, but mean the world.

Sorry, I am terrible at self promotion.

I had my picture taken with Mayor Kozma on my last trip out (The one where I delivered the collected items and the GRM cash).  Here's a photo of my ugly mug for ya:

Of the two of us, I'm the shorter person in the picture (I stand just under 6ft.  I think Mayor Kozma might be 2-meters tall)

Good times.

Mayor Kozma looks like the kind of guy you'd want on your side in a fight.
