Saw it on TV. What a hit. I'm glad that the other competitors showed him some respect and didn't run around celebrating the win.

It was scary to see his body react afterwards.

I thought for sure his jaw was broken.

I ain't the biggest badass in the world, but can hold my own enough to have sparred with some guys who were clearly way the heck above my skill level, if that makes sense.

It blows my mind that stuff like this doesn't happen a lot more often. Some of those guys can really strike. the human body is not as tough as we often like to think it might be.

Word. There is a lot more you can do to train to be able to dish out more punishment than you can do to condition to take more punishment.

The way he was breathing and staring up unfocused on the ground after the hit... that was what scared me most.

Even the guy who won, he started to celebrate and stopped as soon as he saw what was happening. I kind of felt bad for the guy. Thinking you may have killed, crippled, whatever your competitor is a scary thought.

The guy who landed the "final blow" looked extremely worried and went over to check on the other fighter, but the ref told him to stay back.

Had a back injury, but recovered. That was his first and only mma fight. Fulton outweighed him by a good bit. Little more info here.
