Can't say I've ever heard of a subaru powered boat but it would sound pretty interesting on the water.
In reply to Nitroracer: Mazda rotaries were used, too, up in Washington. Dry exhaust and no mufflers...at first. Then the exhaust was directed below the transom. They were good for top speed, but, out of the hole, well, not so good.
