I just pulled an old laptop bag (that I haven't used in YEARS) out of the closet, and a €20 note and a Canadian $50 fell out! I don't even remember putting those in there.
It's a good thing they fell out on their own too, because I took the bag out so I could vacuum the dust from the inside. That would have been expensive... You can bet I searched it thoroughly after that.
I ain't complaining!

I once bought a sport jacket at the secondhand shop for $5 that had a $20 bill and a yarmulke in the pocket.

I had to google that to find out what you were talking about. I had no idea it was spelled that way! I learned something new today.

next time you're in Windsor Ontario, get yourself a lap dance or two!
The other day, I was like sweet I have $200 more than I thought I did! And then shortly after spending it I remembered who I was supposed to give that $200 to. OOPSIES

I left a gig late one night and noticed something in the street just as I was about to pull out of my parking space. On a hunch, got out to investigate: $20! And there were two more slowly blowing away. I looked around (quickly) for anyone frantically running after some money, and seeing no one, introduced The Jackson 3 to their new digs with Mr. Washington and Lincoln.
A couple days later I realized that several months prior I had lost $60 out of the pocket of my sweat-soaked shirt when I was changing in the bathroom after the hottest set in the history of man, only to notice them missing when I was about 75 miles away from the venue.
The Universe was paying me back.
Thanks, Universe.
Just to save anyone else the trouble.
