There are quite a few games coming out for the PC in the next two months that I'm really looking forward to:
- Fallout 3
- Far Cry 2
- F.E.A.R.: Project Origin
- STALKER: Clear Sky
- Spore
Anyone else looking forward to these or other very promising upcoming games? I'm probably going to end up spending too much money.
I look forward to the new one called "Sleep" but since the baby is due in November I don't see me getting it soon.
Fallout 1 and 2 were fantastic, I'm hoping Fallout 3 is a worthy successor.

Agreed. The Fallout games are the best RPG's I've played. I may have to dig up my old copies and replay them.
Duke Nuke 'um!.... HA HA! Good joke!
I'm looking forward to Blizzard twins... Starcraft II and Diablo III!
i play console games a lot more than PC games but heres my list:
-Disgaea 3
-Spore
-Fable 2
-Fallout 3
-Star Wars Force Unleashed
-Rock Band 2
-Guitar Hero 4
Problem is i dont really have enough money for any of them.
Oh yeah! Force Unleashed is the other one I'm looking forward to.
Too many choices, not enough $$$.

It's on Blizzard's default timetable: "When it's done."
I mean, they're making BILLIONS off WoW, why should they rush?
I couldn't get through Diablo 2. The gameplay just got way too repetitive, and there was no plot or character development to liven things up.

But you could collect things. Gotta get all uniques, yo!

If I'm gonna do that, I'd rather play Pokemon. Then I can catch them all.

diablo 2 was all about hardcore mode (1 death and you get to start the game over). PvP is intense when your playing for keeps.
Diablo 3
Other than that only racing games are of any interest to me.

gran turrismo 5 or is it 4 or whatever is going to be awesome.
Fallout3 zomg I can hardly wait.
I'm ready to put on my power armor and blow the face off some mutants. Seriously, I will lock myself in the house to play that through once.
Also, Starcraft 2 is due "when it's done" but best guesses say December. I'm not as excited about that as I am Fallout 3.

The upside of that is that Blizz games usually reach your computer in a somewhat playable state. They've been getting my dork bucks for several years now with WoW, but I've never been much of a Diablo fan. D3 may change that, though.

WoW and a parrot? Yeah, you win jg...
From what i hear the Starcraft II release date is going to be December 3 of this year. Already have it reserved at Gamestop. Been waiting a LONG time for this one. Bout time for some more Zerg bustin'.
I need a new computer before buying these new games :)
On my desk are some things to start:
-ASUS M2N-SLI motherboard
-AMD Athlon X2 5000 AM2
just need a few more :)
Craigslist is my new friend for lightly used computer components.
I just got a new computer that is finally able to play Crisis on medium settings. Total grass-roots too: Pentium Core2 Duo, 2gigs RAM, GeForce 8600GT, 250gig hard drive. Not too fancy by today's standards. But I got it all for $240! (I bought a brand new Antec TruPower Trio PSU for $40 from another guy.) All I needed was to slap it in a case with optical drives that I had sitting around.
Double GRM rig, since the guy I bought it from is not only a fellow GRM reader, but a LeMons competitor. Best experience I've ever had buying on Craigslist. He helped me troubleshoot the machine when there was a minor hardware conflict. GRM folks are great.
