I have seen these for several months now. Is there any consensus on these yet?

We sell the Powerall at work, have heard many good things about them and few complaints.

I have this. Haven't needed it to jump start anything, but it'll charge lots of stuff easily.

I just stick a 2-slot cigarette lighter USB adapter into the port on my BoosterPac.

I have one. They jump start pretty good if the battery isnt 100% dead. If you try and jump a stone dead 1997 5.7 GMC van, you are out of luck.

I've heard they work great. I have a full size jumper battery pack already so I haven't bothered to invest yet.

If anything they make a great power supply for charging electronic devices when on road and camping trips.

I jumped an International 4300 fuel truck with one. It obviously wasn't stone dead but I was pretty impressed to say the least.

I have one in each car and one on the motorcycle. Have used them to jump 100% dead batteries, lawn tractors, ATV's way off the beaten path and charge the phone when on long trips. Love them, consider them essential part of my kit.

I am asking for actual jump start purposes. It sounds like it should be enough for 4 cyl hondas. I'll put them on my Xmas list for the cars.

They will handle that task quite well. I love battery technology.

I have one that my aunt got me for Xmas one year, I only used it once, but it started my focus when the battery wouldn't at a gas station. That reminds me I should charge it up and throw it in the work van I jihad to get jumped last week

You did what to your work van... Lol.

I have "Quip All Max" pcaj500 and pcaj200. Bought the small one first and realized how nice it is to have and how much I use it for all purposes. Jump starting my stuff and strangers, way easier than getting the cables out. Then bought the bigger one and threw the small one in the wife's 4Runner. They are incredibly useful.

If I was just getting one it would be the larger one. The small one is fine and will start the 4.6 in my Crown Vic with no other battery connected. I just like the larger one, better packaging and battery cable settup.

Thanks Ross

Side note. They can be a life saver in the junk yard to test all types of stuff...

Just picked one up today that has 650ca for diesels. Taking a lil roadtrip in a couple of days and it could also be useful on the boat.

I think I need to get one of these. My old huge jump pack finally died

How often do you guys jump stuff?

Short of the odd junk lawnmower or motorcycle I am working on, I couldn't tell you the last time I had to jumpstart anything, mine or someone else's.

Sunday, as in last Sunday the Samurai needed a boost. Before that, it was the Jet Boat.

I end up jumping something every month or two. Either it's been sitting so long it's low, or the wife left the lights on, or the kids didn't close the door after bringing in groceries, or the lawnmower won't start, or the neighbor's car won't start. It's pretty endless when you are the guy everyone calls when there is a problem.

A multitude of machines that sit means a multitude of chances for a dead or low battery.

I use a full size jump box. I like it because it also has an inverter and compressor on board as well as a couple of USB ports for charging electronics. That's handy at times. It will also jump my 460 Ford with a fully dead battery.

I have one, it works as advertised. It's a nioce glovebox emergency start device.

Doesn't work if the battery is dead due to an internal fault (for that you need THICK jumper cables and a running car, period) but it's great if you sat too long with the door open or something and the battery's not quite up enough to crank the engine.

You'll need to log in to post.
