There's been two things I've waited for over the years. David Lee Roth getting back together with Van Halen and a successor to the Crx. Now, in the same year, the Cr-z is on sale and news of Roth in the studio. Finally! However, a feeling of caution is standing in the way of total excitement. Will the "rebirth" destroy any of the image of yesteryear? How many will be let down? Or does the fact that there is at least an attempt to go forward and keep the two among us worthy enough to be excited? Does the replacement of the original Si engine with a hybrid make you a little angry or nervous like Wolfgang replacing Michael Anthony? What's it going to sound like we wonder. Some are angry but willing to give the ol' boy a chance. Well, time will tell.
Wouldn't announcing Katy Perry as the new lead singer for Van Halen be a better parallel to the Honda scenerio? ;-)

I wouldn't doubt it. I don't know who would be worse to be around, Eddie or Dave. Eddie would sell you out and Dave would annoy the heck out of you.
