I was over a friends house the other day and commented on how much I liked his new front plate on his euro 931. He got it from a guy in Europe. Then he said he had TWO.. and gave me the spare!
Slightly warped friends are a good thing to have...
A friend in school had FE MA1DN. I thought it was clever--you know, something for metal heads who know some basic chemistry. But yeah, umlauts are cool.
In reply to David S. Wallens:
The kids that took weight lifting at my highschool had shirts when they lifted a certain weight that said "Fe " (male symbol, if my html doesn't work). We all knew what they were trying to say, but calling those really built dudes "female" was too good to pass up.
Heh. I've actually been tempted. I was thinking MNYPIT1 and MNYPIT2 for the Corrados. But I'm a little late renewing this month, so I can't wait for them to be made if I want to motor on without being pulled over. Seems I've successfully defeated the temptation for another year..
My NitroYellow Green Neons have tags NYG95 (GeorgiA plates, hence screen name), and NYGTWO. If I get another one, it'll be NYGTOO.
I think i'm going to try to get "LOLWUT" for the MX6.
Maybe "OMGVTAK." I'd like to get some IRL Trolling done.
Years ago skiing Utah at Alta there was a little white MR2 with vanity plates "Y B NRML". We all that it was rather cool and took some pics, then two of the hottest girls I have ever seen walked over got in and drove off. That topped it off! Then there was a white 90's ford bronco over at Park City, Utah with plates "NOT OJ". This was a year or so after the oj nonsense so it was pretty much pissyourself funny.
I've got "NO FUZZ 2" on a 9C1 Caprice. Actually had a cop ask me what the hell that means. I want "TRK SLT" for my future Miata.
Someone put up a picture of a Hummer, you know hoe it says "HUMMER" across the rear bumper?
The Plate was : GIVE ME A

Hotlinked with pleasure.
I want FKRZFST when I get my Viper (or some car that actually deserves it). It would be a lie on the Miata.
... for now.
Two pics I remember from 70s era Car and Driver mag:
Someone had 55 SUX during those dark days (don't recall the state), and a New Jersey (state name at top, and "Garden State" at the bottom) plate reading IS NOTA.

I remember seeing PA plate 55 SUX on a 911SC Targa (Gold?) at a CART track day at Lime Rock in the 80's.
