I just watched a documentary on Netflix about This Video and it was stinkin' cool.
It's worth the seven and a half minutes of your life.

Check out the doc on Netflix. This dude is pretty cool and dedicated. And his parents are funny too.
Saw this a while ago. Watch him cross the fence at the end.

I first saw his videos when a friend referenced the one where he rode from Edinburgh Castle to the Isle of Skye. My wife and I had just returned from Scotland and we could recognize most of the locations, so of course we loved it. The guy has amazing riding skills.
My neighbor has one. Last spring my kids came running into the living room excited and pulling my into the kitchen. He was riding his bike through the woods at the back of his yard, it was cool to watch.
I used to ride trials - nowhere near THAT though. I picked up another bike and got back into it about 7-years ago, but gave it up again. I don't heal very quick anymore, so I'd prefer not to punish my body any worse than it's capable of coping with.
Hans Rey made bicyce trials popular, but Danny MacAskill has taken the household recognition of "trials" from motorcycles at least in the USA.
For a long time you'd mention that you thought "trials riding was cool" and people would assume moto trials.

Another danny run- this time with girlies. That nose manual.... that's just showing off.
I watched the ridge and then was inspired and went out on a 10 mile bike ride.
Came back and watched the one with the bunnies.
I need to buy another BMX. I can't bomb on my MTB like I used to, but I can probably fart around in the driveway.....
I cannot understand why we don't get trials riding on TV. Could there possibly be a motorsport that would translate to the small screen better, or be cheaper and easier to film?
Edit: I see its pedalbike. I want proper hydrocarbon burning trials. Pedals are good, gasoline is better.

My knees hurt and my wife is writing divorce papers just thinking about it. It's still tempting....

Couldn't do any of that on a trials moto.
