If you set the speed too fast there may be buffering issues depending on connection speed. There is a blue progress bar below the picture that indicates how far along the route you are, there is a yellow buffering bar that will move separately from the blue bar, but along the same path which indicates buffering. Try to not let the blue bar catch up to the end of the yellow. Also if it is a long route it may take a while for the blue bar to become visible.
