Amazing these guys are still at it.
Definitely one of the greatest Rock-n-Roll bands of all time. Would I pony up the cash to see the old geezers? I dunno.

Not sure.... but talk about nostalgia
The wife and I went to see a Moody Blues concert a couple of years ago.... and a Paul McCartney concert longer ago than that... and a Bob Dylan concert back in the 90s!
lets say it just wasn't the same...
I saw the Steel Wheels tour back in '89 and I thought they were about finished then.
I'd pay a decent buck to sit in a rocker and listen to them tell stories but I'm happy to keep the astronomical fee to hear them play right in my pocket.
I saw them in 94 during the Voodoo Lounge tour, and thought they put on a really good show. Of course, I think the ticket was only around $50, since that pre-dated the Eagles Hell Freezes Over tour, when the big groups found out how much they charge for tickets.
I'm not even going to look and see what the ticket prices will be this time around.

I worked that tour when they came through Atlantic City... almost got killed on it too.

I saw them at the Pontiac Silverdome on that tour. Great show, but someone died that night falling from the middle balcony to the bottom. Fortunately for me, I didn't find out till the next day, but it did kinda ruin the memory.

I didn't think they were using the Hell's Angles for security anymore.

I came here to post this exact statement. That was the first concert I ever camped out for tickets. That was as much fun as the concert itself. IIRC, the Philadelphia show was the kickoff of the tour. I enjoyed it, but they were definitely vintage then. I can't imagine it now. They were awesome in their day, and I still listen when they come on he radio, but "their day " was decades ago.
Meh, not a big fan of the Rolling Stones.
However, my Rush R:40 tickets did come yesterday, and they are kicking off the tour here in Tulsa. My dad's band is playing the outside stage before the show, so I need to find someone to take with me.
