Where is the dividing line between bread and dessert? I've had some sweet assed corn bread in my day. The Chinese place nearby fries plain old dinner rolls and covers them in sugar. Without the sugar are they still just rolls?

I'd put forth that a brown betty is superior to pie using the same fruit type. This is most notably true of apple brown betty.
