I'd rather just have a Mustang like that.
I had a '70 BOSS 302 and a couple other '70 fastbacks (one was an autocrosser). Nostalgia is nice, but my '06 Mustang is a vastly better car than the classics were. With no work at all, it's better at accelerating, turning and stopping than the modded autocrosser was, with a nicer interior than the street cars had, better build quality, and a better ride AND better fuel mileage, while being safer and pollutes less. And the new Mustangs are better than my '06 (though, for the money, they better be). AND they're still about the same size and weight as the classics (with allowances for sound deadening and crash protection strength).

So? I honestly don't care. I really have met so few modern cars I like that I would rather just have a classic. The newest vehicle I have out of 5 about to be 6 is a 93 model. Now get off my lawn. If I was to buy one of the new "pony/muscle" cars, the Mustang would be my choice but honestly it like most other modern cars doesn't do anything for me. The cars I would actually consider if I had the money are a Morgan Aero 8, Caterham, any of the Lotus models or a Fiat 500 Abarth.

That makes no sense. It was my opinion. You are also entitled to yours, but you seem hell bent on changing mine. There's no point to that. So no, I don't agree and won't live with it. While I fully expect people to not agree with me, I also expect them to respect my opinion, not drone on and on trying to change it.

I work at a Ford dealership, we just got our first 2013 5.0 GT in. Friggin nice!! Black, no stripes, Brembo pkg, Sync, Track App, 6-speed. EXACTLY how I'd order it.... I think they're trying to tempt me... Pix forthcoming.
You'd admitting to wanting Sync?
Yeah, Sync is great. The damn MyTouch is what's driving people crazy. Sync is awesome.
Looks decent to me. The taillights don't look Japanese but they do look 80's-ish somehow and I don't think it fits this car. That said they don't bother me as much as the final FR-S/GT-86 taillights.
I will admit the tails also look better than the appendages Ferrari has been hanging off of the rears of their cars recently
