Yeah, I sent that to my pop and his good friend who used to road race together. Their responses were pretty classic.

I mean oops I have no elbow cause I burned it off on the turbo, where my arm rest used to be!
there isn't anything inherently wrong with a remote turbo inside of a race car...it may get warm, and that is a TON of piping...but in theory it should work.
also, shouldn't the "cold air" intake work ducted to the interior too? the interior of a car will be cooler than the damn engine bay wouldn't it? don't see a problem there.

Just be glad that consumer grade turbos are engineered for containment.
