ROCK HILL, S.C. -- A Rock Hill woman found out fast food won't make your car go fast.
Channel 9's newspaper partner, The Herald in Rock Hill reported Thursday a 30-year-old woman made a complaint to police after she took her car to a Rock Hill mechanic last week because it would suddenly stop running.
Police said a mechanic found a cheeseburger and pickle inside the car's gas tank. The woman told officers she had no idea how it happened.
Investigators said the damage cost about $1,000 to repair.

I have heard of a banana in the tailpipe... but never a pickle in the tank

I believe two pickles in the bush is worth one in the gastank.

A cheeseburger? How the HELL do you get a whole cheeseburger there?

Like I said... That's creative!!!
But seriously, who would even think to stuff a cheeseburger in the gas tank? Who's pissed enough at their cheeseburger to say " This cheeseburger sucks! I need to stuff it in a gas tank! F*** trash cans, I need a gas tank to toss this burger in!" Think about that for a minute.
I'm guessing it happened in a White Castle parking lot after bar closing time.
Hey, people run on cheeseburgers, why not cars?

How could they even recognize it as a burger? I mean, just handling a fast-food burger with mustard and ketchup mangles the thing while you are eating it. Now imaging trying to stuff that into an unleaded sized filler opening. Even a White Castle slider would be smooshed into a shapeless mass...then it gets soaked in gas?
I eat a lot of burgers but I've never been able to recognize one after it is "processed."

That's precisely why I asked how the hell they got a cheeseburger there. I mean, if you mashed it, you'd never know it was a cheeseburger. A pickle, maybe. So how the hell do you get a cheeseburger in a gas tank so that it's recognizeable as a cheeseburger?
Piss off a neighbor lately?
i just dont understand how this is news
Fast food is very durable. One of my roommates my first year of college left a taco bell taco in the fridge for an either year and when I found it looked exactly the same as when you buy it.
I remember 20 years ago (I suddenly feel old) while I was in college and pumping gas to make spending money.. somebody threw away an entire box of tastycake chocolate cupcakes due to mold.
I was working midnight shift, so i unwrapped them all and threw them out into the street for the cars to run over. I learned two important things about tastey cake cupcakes that night.
-
When runover, it will only collapse to half it's height. the second time it is runover, it will again lose half it's height... repeat until it becomes one with the asphalt
-
Tastycake cupcakes leave a stain on asphalt that takes months to go away
