Found a 2 year old glock 23, .40 with trijicon sights and 3 mags, and all the paper work still with it. I can't find a single mark anywhere on it. Paid 435... It's about two years old. Pretty sweet.

I'm not a Glock fan, but I really don't see you regretting buying a semi-automatic handgun. You should own at least one for each day of the week.

This is number 5 auto! Nine total handguns...

I have a first gen 17 that still runs like a champ. Never had a single failure with it. At some point I want to add a 19 and 26 to the mix. Still prefer my SIG but I just can't find anything wrong with a Glock.
It's a pretty good club to be in. Glocks may not illicit emotional attachment from most people, but I love my G19. Also if you want some interesting reading check out Glock: The Rise of America's Gun.
I was ruined on Glocks forever when the handgun guru who got me started put a classic Smith revolver in my hand, but the 23 is the one I'd buy. Rented one, it's the size I'd like, a righteous caliber, feather weight, but... I just can't do it, doesn't feel right for me.
GenIII or GenIV?

Same for me. I sold my G22 but I am keeping my G19. I love it.
Unfortunately, too many people associate Glocks with this:
lol......you're drinking the koolaide, some people like it too much, some like them every now and then, and some who have never touched one will hate them all day long.
If it fits your hand, you like the balance, weight, and feel.....you have a nice tool to keep with you at all times.
I have moved on to Sig's, but I wouldn't turn down another 33....

Yeah, but you don't want the thugs to have a more reliable weapon than you do, so if that becomes a push, then it all comes down to skill.
He doesn't have it.

GenIII. I'm actually thinking I may have been better off with a genII. The finger grooves are not lined up well with my fingers. Other than that I like the gun. I don't love it like my smith model 37, or (believe it or not) my keltec pf9, but it seems really nice and solid. It's like the saturn we had. Sl2. Good car, drove really nice, but I didn't fall in love with It.
