I haven't taken vacation all year, till this week. Didn't have lots planned, but lots I wanted to do.
I'm freaking sick as a dog (though I don't know any dogs that have gotten sick...)
That is all, I just wanted to whine about it. Sadly, I don't have the energy to really whine much. I'm gonna go wipe my nose now, then paint the toilet bowl again.

In my experience, it's either you get sick or the weather won't cooperate with your plans. Or both, usually concurrent.

Well, the good news is that if it's the same thing that made me dog-sick weekend before last, it's a 24-hour bug. Like, almost to the minute.
Bad news is that those 24 hours suck. Sorry to hear you feel lousy.

I feel your pain. My sister and her family came up for thanksgiving weekend. I now have her cold....worse, I twisted my back while they were visiting, and now I'm barely ambulatory.
