So what did Honda North America have to say about round two of the incompetent tech follies?
They called it a dealership issue and washed their hands of the situation. I started going to another dealer for service and never had any more issues.
UPDATE
I got the the truck back and they have replaced the rear wheel studs, have a brand new wheel, and a new set of lugs on all 4 wheels. Not a cent out of my pocket. So Discount Tire is good in my book.
Is it sad I wish I hadn't given the Camry back?

Thats some awesome service!
Been there done that, in the middle of Berkleying nowhere. No cell service, and had a tire changed not long before....
Nice to hear that the company took care of you. Stuff happens. How the customer is treated pretty much determines if they're good guys or not.

I tell you what. I used to work for Discount Tire and they were super paranoid about this stuff. It rarely happened though.
However, they want to retain customers, so they always bent over backwards for them.
I will say that some locations are not like others, so people are going to have good experiences and some bad.
My tire shop does each nut with a handheld torque wrench. Its nice knowing they dont just throw the impact at them.
