Every now and then on a Friday I think of bravenrace's epic post from years ago and I'm compelled to keep it alive. It was a simple beginning but it took on a life of its own. Like a lot of great posts here. We haven't heard from him lately and somebody on the CMS forum was asking about him and it reminded me. So here we are on a Friday evening and I'm making Mojitos for Annie and me with home-grown spearmint. Salute! Cheers! Celebrate the end of the traditional work week. Enjoy.

BTW, the Gold Coast Club is a great club in South Florida. Very active. I picked up a couple wine glasses at a car show they hosted at the Royal Palm Place in Boca a few years ago. Here's a pic from that:

I was in Burlington, VT last summer and saw a Bobby Burns nikka single cask for the mere price of $409.24 per...drink.
Not getting drunk but been a long, stressful, and successful week and SWMBO's has been way longer, more stressful, and equally awesome. Taking a quick relax after putting our little guy down then my turn for the night duty while the missus gets some rest.
Happy Friday and Cheers to all from LaQuinta Brewing Company's Palm Springs Tap Room. Drinking a "Tan Line" brown ale. Spent a few hours at the McCormick Classic Car Auction today, saw some fantastic cars sell for sane prices (as it should be) and worked up a healthy thirst in the meantime.

Happy Friday again. Time flies. (Well, it does when you're retired). It was nice to finally get outside and do some much-needed late winter cleanup work in the yard that wasn't moving snow around or chopping ice. Low fifties temps here and that's good enough for me.
