I procured a sixer of Stone's "Enjoy By: " on my walk home from the metro after work. Much happiness in a glass.

I fired up my Miata this afternoon. It's been in winter storage since early November. Took it out for a drive and just as if it was on auto pilot it pulled right into the liquor store parking lot with no effort on my part. I now have a six pack of Yuengling Original Black and Tan in the fridge. "Yuengling" is easy to say now, but will no doubt sound stranger than normal after drinking a few of them.
Happy Friday evening all.

This is on the agenda for tonight.

I have not had any Yuengling in a while. .. . .Hummmmm Tonight could get ugly.. . .
Why am I wanting to have a drinking flash back night. Go out and get some of all the really cheep things we use to drink. Invite friends over and . .. . well.. . . Drink!!!!
I am thinking Orange Tango!!!!!
Edit Wrong link.. . . I can not find the link to the Orange Tango pre mixed stuff we use to by. It was like Tang and grain alcohol pre mixed. Nasty when it was warm but deadly when cold.
Well, it's Friday afternoon, the clock says it's after 3:00, I can't work in the yard because it's raining, the garage is still too cold to work in, etc. etc., so I think I can justify having a beer. Long Trail Ale. I'm going to toast all Spitfire and Spridget racers out there, and (with luck) anyone who may start racing a Spitfire or Spridget in the near future. Cheers!
Happy weekend everyone.
I'm outta here at 4:30 and headed to the Brew Garden, where I will happily partake in a much much needed alcoholic beverage of my choice. After that, I'll have another or maybe 2 or 6, then it's off to my son's jazz bans concert. Man it's been one sucky day, but hopefully it's going to get a lot better in about an hour.
Hey Gary, thanks for the toast! Have a good one!
I will be drinking a toast to my friends at Rock Auto, and the new $44 muffler that I just finished installing on the Miata.
took a stroll through the liquor store at lunch looking for a budget bourbon/whiskey and ended up with a bottle of Wild Turkey Spiced. have to say I'm pleasantly surprised at the smoothness and flavor is pretty decent, especially for a $20 bottle.
slainte!!
In reply to Woody:
Let me know how it sounds. Mine came with a flowmaster, and I really don't like the sound.
I have a Jackson Racing cat-back on my '96 Miata, which I put on around 10 years ago. Other than the excessively large diameter of the tailpipe I like it. Pretty good sound. Not tinny. I don't know if Jackson Racing is still around. I bought mine through Moss.
But I digress. The Long Trail Ale was pretty good. Will be going out to the local pub when the missus gets home from work, and I'll probably force down a Beefeater martini or two. She's complaining about a rough day (unlike me) so I'm sure she'll be hitting the sauce too.
Happy Friday evening. It'll be a low key evening for me. Wife and I have already been out three nights this week. But that won't stop me from celebrating the weekend with a few beers. Sign I saw in Key West: "The liver is evil. You must punish the liver."
What're your Friday evening plans this week?

Let's hang out. Dragon's Milk. I love that E36 M3.
Guess i'm going to polish off a couple Tsingtaos before going to G&T.
Rough day. Much drunking incoming.
Just cracked open one of the left over miller lites someone left in my fridge a couple weeks ago, if that works out I'll proceed to the left over Dos Equis.
You'll need to log in to post.
