I knew I liked Kermit he is a Guinness frog.
Ugh. Still hungover from last night. I didn't need that 2nd "Tomahawk" (Overholt Rye, smoked paprika, cinnamon, agave nectar, orange garnish), but damn was it good.
Had a Narragansett Summer Ale 16 oz. "tall boy" at around 4:00. Probably have a couple glasses of Bordeaux later.
Happy weekend.
I got off my 0600-1400 shift just to work my 1500-2000. I've got dinner coming, but maybe I should order in a few brews while I'm at it.
Where's the guy who started this thread? Does he still drink alcohol on Friday nights?
I've been trying to keep this thread going, but ...
Why limit your alcohol consumption to just Friday?
And at 8:30 I've had a bourbon and a beer. I should go find some scotch.....
I'm nursing a sour stomach from some apparently bad Mexican food last night. HOWEVER! Based on continuous improvement throughout the day, I believe I will be ready for a nice bottle of Fat Tire when I get home. Then another. And possibly another, and so on and so forth.
Fat Tire - What and awesome name, eh?

I loved Fat Tire when I couldn't get it on the East Coast, I swear that it's different now, or at least what they ship east is different, it's much maltier then it was before.

Nah, its just human nature to lust after anything we can't have. We did the same thing when we couldn't get Coors.

Hey when it's over 95 degrees, if I'm on a boat or driving I enjoy a ice cold Coors Light. Any other time I prefer beer though.
In reply to captdownshift:
I can pretty much agree with that. The hotter it gets the lighter my beer gets.

Wow... I hope I get to retire. That sounds delightful.
I took the short walk up to the delicious Bon Me for lunch today (http://www.bonmetruck.com/)
They're located right across the plaza from the also delicious Cambridge Brewing Company (http://cambridgebrewingcompany.com/)
It took a seriously large amount of self control to walk back to work, instead of getting a nice table outside and having a few beers to while away the afternoon. Guess I know what i'm doing when I get home though!
I was at Thompson all day for the start of the vintage race weekend. Today was practice. No beer there! I just got home and I'm quite parched. I'm sitting on my deck with a refreshing Lime-a-Rita. Then wife Annie and I will go out to the local pub and I'll force down a Beefeater martini or two. I'm going back to Thompson tomorrow and leaving early, so I have to be prudent tonight.
In reply to Gary:
I'm leaving early in the morning as well I still may sneak in one or two without the wife knowing

I find fat tire to be very hit and miss. I used to attribute it to maybe sometime like light contamination or the like, since when it was bad it tasted kinda like beer that I know got exposed to far too much light. But it's in cans now and still hit and miss, so I have no idea. It seems to be one of the least consistent mainstreamish beers I've ever had.
