Yes, after weeks of bedrest, my wife will deliver our 2nd daughter (her 3rd) this Thursday Oct. 17th. We have to be at the hospital at 5:30am. It's an hour and a half away. LOL No, not c-section, just induced natural. She's been on bedrest for high blood pressure for about 4-6 weeks. I can't remember exactly.
Anyway, YAY! LOL
To answer a few questions...
- Yes, we do have a name.
- No I won't tell you till she's born
- The hospital is in Abilene, we live near Brownwood. Brownwood hospital sucks ass and our Dr. is in Abilene and he's awesome. Hence the drive.
New babies are awesome. Best of luck with the delivery and recovery from it. Enjoy everything.
Love that new baby smell.
Yes, and to anyone who is expecting a new kid... No one bothered to tell me this. Their first poop, is just like road tar. Don't be freaked out. It's apparently normal. I'm just sharing info that I wasn't given and I freaked out. LOL Looking forward to a tar ass Thursday. LOL
See you on Xbox in about a year.

Yeah... I think Tim and I are still scarred by that. As I remember, I couldn't make a dent in it with the wipes, so Tim tore a flap off the diaper box and used that as a scraper. Worked great! Just a heads-up to anyone who's not prepared.
Congrats, daddy!!

Bare-bottom pictures of the little guy would really help illustrate the story don't you think? #embarrassingtom

Never! And notice, no names were used to protect the (not necessarily) innocent...

Karigan Kai Hamilton was born at 1:48pm. She weighs 5 lb 8 oz. Both mama and baby are doing great. I'm still at the hospital, I will get you pix soon.
Congratulations!! Neat name, too.
Congrats man! My latest one is just over a week old and sleeping in my lap at the moment.
Nothing like new babies. Are you going to breastfeed? Both of ours have been and we've got nothing but good things to say about it.
In reply to BoostedBrandon:
Yes if the wife can produce enough milk. That was a problem with our youngest.
In reply to Javelin:
All the girls have K names. Kelcie is 17, Kourtlyn is 3, and now Karigan.

I will say, it's REALLY berkeleying funny when neither you or your wife has changed a diaper on your newborn because they were monitoring him for low blood sugar due to gestational diabeetus- and your wife goes for the first diaper change and your newborn takes a leak and THAT deuce all over her. My...friend..... told me it was the funniest thing since the time she tripped and fell while sitting on the couch.
When she is bad, you can call her The Kurigan and she won't get the joke for years.

Congrats.
