Long PITA process dealing with tire kickers and pollsters, but the most serious guy sent a deposit a bit ago and showed up yesterday to finalize. I'm VERY GLAD it's going to a good home. Wife owns a B&B in West Virginia, and he is a retired airline pilot, that now is a test pilot for Lancair Aircraft. His DD is a Twin Beech, they live in an "Air Park".
Spent two days socializing and putzing, but they are excited; waxed the whole thing, went through the papers and seem quite pleased. Can you tell this is a load off? I'm pleased. (and not just because the last one didn't end as well).
Tractor trailer coming in a few weeks, Cadimino goes inside, pictures to follow.

You seemed like you were really enjoying the glider, what made you decide to pass it along to the next owner?

So...when do you start building an RV-6?

Bittersweet I'm guessing to sell it. I've enjoyed reading about your gliding exploits, and am glad you can still get up there with the club gliders.
Bittersweet is a good word. Similar to boats, the two best days are .....

Old addage: If it floats, berks, or flys, it's cheaper to rent than buy.
