If a stranger did that to my son he would be throat punched with the quickness.
My wife does that to me all the time, maybe I should press charges
It's funny the guy took off - I imagine the mom and staff were yelling at him as he was running as fast as he could to get to his car to peel away quickly.
In reality I think the guys a tool.
Aaawwwwwww he looks all sorry and like he's been crying in his mug shot. They need to go check his computer.
"Migani is charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree breach of peace. He was released on $500 bond and is due in Derby Superior Court on August 19."
Seriously?
Ya if someone did that to my kid there would be a fight.

Why not? The guy certainly could have started a fight and he grabbed someones child.
These are both misdemeanors and he's going to be fined, that's it.

Serious Physical Injury: Such an injury is not merely a bump, bruise or even a fractured or broken finger. Instead, serious physical injury means impairment of a person's physical condition which creates a substantial risk of death, or which causes death, or serious and protracted disfigurement, or protracted impairment of health or protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily organ. Recklessly: Not acting silly or stupidly (whatever those terms mean), you act recklessly when you engaged in conduct which creates a substantial risk of serious physical injury to another person. Substantial Risk: Not merely any or a slight risk, but a significant one. Case law and your counsel can assess the degree of the risk as well as whether the other definitions and elements of the statute have been satisfied.
What he did fits at least two if these. Maybe even physical injury since he put his finger into someones ear.
substantial risk of.... protracted loss or impairment of the function of any bodily organ.
I can see what the guy did causing this.
Keep in mind this is what he's going to be charged with not what he's going to be necessarily convicted of.
I bet that guy came from some foreign country where dudes give random children wet Willies all the time. He's just not familiar with our social norms. And he's crying because he thinks he's in for some midnight express prison E36 M3.
