Dumping cable today. Upping the data and speed on the internet. The only thing I'm going to miss is English Premier League Football. Options for watching the games online? I have Hola and can watch BBC iPlayer, do they carry the games? Even delayed later in the day would be OK as I'm in Toronto and 5 hours behind the UK.
Racing seems to be reasonably well covered online, but help on getting F1, Le Mans/Endurance, and WRC would be welcomed as well.
Thanks
if you want to watch a bunch of people run around a field and never score, just hang around the local parks and watch kids play tag or something.

They usually score a bit. And even without scoring, it's the 'creative play'. I know, most don't get it but I love it. I've also played in a work league the last 4 years.
Come on, someone else must like real football!
i do like real football. aka NFL.

You too eh?
We did it in November - signed up for Netflix. Dropped $65 a month in bills.
Fortunately I don't watch sports on TV, because getting any sports via streaming sucks.
Don't know anything about this site but it may be worth investigating. http://www.livesoccertv.com/competitions/england/premier-league/

We just got tired of spending money on something we weren't watching. I think we're saving about the same. Worst case is the SportsNet international soccer package for $8 a month. Or head over to the local pub up the street. That will end up costing more though
Big football fan here. Not so much throwball or pointyball.
Is online gambling legal in Canada? The sites like bwin.com carry live streams if you have a gambling account. I can't do it in USA, but I've read about quality streams that way.
I did what you did a couple years ago and it lasted 9 months. I ended up returning to cable with only 1 TV. The rest of the house gets streaming players (Roku) or Tablet connections. Without cable, most of the ESPN/NBC sports is unavailable - I just don't like paying for cable boxes.
For online streaming.. What I do is go to reddit.com/r/soccer
Usually there will be a match thread for every big game. They will list live streams at the top in the summary. Example: http://www.reddit.com/r/soccer/comments/2v34eb/match_thread_tottenham_hotspur_vs_arsenal/
Otherwise, I dunno. Maybe borrow a friend's passcode for NBC Sports App.
Also - there is this: https://www.dishworld.com/sports

Thanks! I'll try this for next weekend. I just caught the end of a match following a link on reddit. We'll see how that works.
BTW, love the description pointy ball. Football is the one you um......play with your feet!
