Organized a party with my good buddy... we'll see what happens. People are so non-committed these days it's impossible to tell boom or bust. It's not like a "big" house party, just 10 to 15 people out of our circle of friends.
Good tunes, good eats, good drinks, etc. Hell, it may just turn into a night of gaming if only 5 people show lol.

Having a few people over, making some food and snacks, building a fire in the fire pit and having a few or 10 adult beverages.
Yea, just me and the wife at home and a bottle of Victory Brewing Dark Intrigue. May all your new years start as deliciously and drunkenly!
We will stay home and probably miss the Big Moment. Very dangerous around here, as way too many shoot off their guns into the air at midnight. Even the cops take shelter. What goes up will come down.
at one time I was an extremely heavy drinker... and since I always made it home ok ( damn the things we got away with back then, that I wouldn't even try now) we called it amateur night ... after a while ( once they started road blocks ) I just got in the habit of staying home ... now I hardly ever drink so I still stay home 
Heading to my friend's shop for a party. Gonna get lit! Then maybe work on my truck tomorrow afternoon at the farm shop, gotta do a trans flush and if I am feeling really ambitious rebuild the oil cooler.

Me either. I was weighing all my options for the night, and about 98% of them included watching people drink. The other 2% was staying home and enjoying some quiet. 
staying home were its safe.
With out Dick Clark NYE just isn't worth the effort.
Goin' to work. Unfortunately I've not mastered the art of the bills paying themselves.
Probably be asleep before twelve.

Grandpa came over. We made 64 cheese ravioli and we cooked a bunch of Italian sausage. Bread, salad, and a pile of olives.

Just got home from my brothers' wedding, no plans for the night.
No plans, this is probably the single worst night of the year to be out and about. The next door neighbor will be shooting fireworks later.
My wife and I play in a band and will be entertaining on the square in Gettysburg, Pa. Then we will hurry to beat all the drunks home
Going to see "New Years Eve" (early show) with the wife and kids then home to play games and watch them roll out the fossilized remains of Dick Clark and wait for the midnight fireworks at the nearby horse racing track, then straight to bed.
Staying home and watching the Leafs-Jets game on TV, then early to bed. And since it's New Years Eve I'll probably consume a couple of NA beers.

currently watching charlie brown christmas with the wife and kids, gonna play a couple of board games, have a fake ball drop for the kids at 10PM, then either watch a movie with wifey or just go to bed. i'm old and lame.
We usually stay home and we are currently through our second pitcher of margaritas. We'll have a few more before the ball drops and we break out a bottle of cheap champagne. We have my elder daughter and her friend here, and the younger is safely parked at her friend's get the night.
After the pre-holiday rush, we usually just don't feel like going somewhere loud and crowded.
