Two friends that recently graduated (one who moved to Indianapolis), my girlfriend, and I all met up at my girlfriends house and headed out from Chicago to beautiful Freeport, Illinois--if you ever get the chance, pass.
Went to our friends apartment party, and partied like it was college all over again (I'm still in but mostly past that drinking stage) and had a pretty fun time. Stayed in the hotel across the street, it was worth the $30 each just for the showers.
New Years day, I get back to the girlfriends house (30 miles from mine) and find that I've got a flat tire. Mostly flat anyways, so there is a leak there somewhere. Since we were going to my uncles party, we left the car there and took her moms car, and I stayed the night with her again and bought a $15 compressor in the morning from Wal Mart. It'll probably break the next time I try it, but whatever. Filled it up and the tire is still holding air 12 hours later--according to my crappy free tire pressure gauge, it has lost one pound from the 45 I filled it up to. I'll check it tomorrow, and if it is still at 44 or 45 I'll take it back down to 32ish and just be sure to check it diligently.
Next year, we decided that we are all going to stay at my girlfriends house and go to the bar that is 1 block away. They have an open bar for $50.
