Came across my new favorite IG account last night–Battle Jackets London–which got me thinking.
Maiden’s Aces High of course–right?–although hard to not go with Death Angel. Testament? Bad Brains? GWAR? NYHC with Anthrax or SOD? Go full Long Island with Twisted Sister? Something a little obscure like Mutoid Man or Concrete, my cousin’s band?
Well, some related watching:
That reminds me, I need more Primus patches.

Everyone needs more Primus patches.

Yeah, and if going classic/old school, should have mentioned this little three-piece outta Canada earlier:

I'd have to add:
Diamond Head has re-released Am I Evil and it's great. They also covered No Remorse and I think it's better than the original.
And definitely a Death patch–and maybe they get the back.
Another thought if going back to my Long Island roots: In high school French class, I sat behind Mitts, formerly of Madball. (Back then, we called him Brian.)
And perhaps something to strive for:
Current jacket has a Burzum, Cradle of Filth and Marduk patch. Other jacket has a big Convege- Jane Doe cut shirt patch. Next one will probably be more post-punk/Goth oriented with maybe Sisters of Mercy leading the way.
I am not sure I am cool enough to ware that.

Someone just nailed the assignment.
The group that runs the Gate/Perimeter/Exodus at Burning Man has a 10" patch that I love, but I don't have a jacket.
Maybe I could put it on my suit? Battle Suit? IDK.
My favorite artist from back when I would have worn such a thing isn't even from that fashion genre. Stevie Ray Vaughan.
But my favorite artist from that fashion genre at that time was Metallica, so I'd go with the artwork from Kill 'em All.
