A hat? A broach? A pterodactyl? No. Tried that.

I have a motor, cord, and 3 speed on/off switch from a box fan that decided to shed a blade.

Any thoughts of what I can use this combo for?

Automatic bucket stirrer for letting things soak for a while. With the rpm it runs, a pretty small blade should do the trick. If not, +1 on pterodactyl.

Oh, trust me the lead in was intentional.

gear it down with discarded bike parts and make a rotary fixture for welding round stuff

Gear it down a bit then bolt it to the interior roof of your car to power a large stuffed beaver on the roof of the car that slowly rotates and makes rude gestures through the use of various gears and levers.
