Hey all,
The TDI is going to be put up for sale and I need a replacement daily driver and tow vehicle. On the regular I tow a ~1200# boat. Otherwise my requirements are just get something cheap and efficient. I really like the hatchbackiness and fun of the Focus but I don't really want to take that depreciation hit because the car is still so new. The gas versions in Europe seem to tow just fine so I assume it'll work. The Corolla is rated to tow 1500 #s but can be quite dull. My wife actually has a 2005 Corolla so at least I'll be familiar with maintenance.
What car would you buy? Pay extra for something fun or save money and go with old reliable? Any other suggestions?
