The start of another awesome BMX build!
For my son we went all out and got him a Tama drum set (it was used but it's still pretty bitchin'). We also got together with his mother and her husband to present him a trip to Camp Woodward next summer. That one he was REALLY surprised about.
Sweet! I got CDs, gift cards and vodka--oh, and an El Camino tree ornament.

And good for you. A friend of mine does a lot of work with her local foster program. If anyone in the Dallas area needs a dog, let me know. Our two say "woof!"
I got bluetooth headsets for my helmets so I can hear my kid on the bike (and listen to pandora)
a Tankbag and heated grips.
and Man Scissors

rusty wallace racing experience.
carli got me the 12 lap wheel to wheel racing experience day at sandusky speedway. i believe it will be wise of me to splurge for the $60 insurance against driver error package. supposedly they are real cup cars, not sure if the power is dialed down but i would assume so.

I got a ceramic travel mug.
Who ever thought of THAT idea??
I had two of these but tend to drop stuff. Dropped them both. Cone shaped style?
I got a new mattress. The person I have sex with got me a better mattress. I am a very luck man.
(OK, I guess we sleep on it too.)

Dad got me a Harbor Freight wire feed welder and an auto dark helmet. 8 gig of memory for the PC based media center I haven't built yet . The best one though arrived Christmas Eve. He's 7 pounds, 14 ounces and currently asleep in my lap .
Aw! Congrats, man! Do him a favor and make sure everyone makes Christmas and birthday completely SEPERATE events. He will thank you later. LOL
I will second that. My wife was born on Dec 29th and I have heard stories, ouch.

Yep, my daughter is a December baby too and we always try to keep things separate for her. This year was the first time it came close to getting rolled into one because she turned 16 and I got her a car so one big expense was enough, but to keep things divided I bought her the paint for the car for her birthday (she wanted it to be bright green)
We also got a rescue pup for chrismas, she's a "retired" puppy mill momma and the sweetest little thing.
Wife really surprised me and went all out to get me a Saddleback leather briefcase for work. Got a cargo mat for the back of the wagon too and the usual sweaters and other goodies

lol OK, so my wife totally surprised me!
We went to her sister's house for dinner, and there in the Garage was my REAL Christmas Present.
A Craftsman 4 drawer bottom chest and a 5 Drawer top chest :) Pictures to follow.
My wife rocks.
Actually my brother in law went and picked it up at Sears after my wife paid and then they wrapped it and hid it in the Garage. EVERYONE knew even my 3 kids and knew. My 6 year old daughter almost spilled the beans a couple of times but was able to hold it together until i opend it. Then she said "now that you know about it, is not longer a secret, right"? I said yes it is no longer a secret, she said, "good, I almost couldn't not talk about it any more".
Woot!
Here it is, the boxes are already loaded up :-)
a Bench vice, Craftsman ratcheting screwdriver set, couple of shirts, a new down filled vest, a Bengals Ball Cap, a UC Bearcats Polo, and a sweet RC boat - pretty good haul!
