I finished some sheet-rock installation for fire blocking. Then framed a soffit and hung a recessed fixture... got yelled at by the g/f for not installing said fixture where she wanted it... so removed it and and couple of nailers and reinstalled... then measured and marked fixture locations in the soffit on the other side of the room (and verified locations w/ the g/f this time). Those should get done tonight.
I'm hoping that in a couple of weeks I'll get to do fun stuff again...
Made some widgets then a goesinta. After that I spent the rest of the day making little ones out of big ones.
I wish I had a job making things sometimes. I just manipulate Google.

Spreadsheets, meeting notes, and an Italian-esque take on leftover roast chicken (soften onion and garlic in 1T each butter and olive oil, add about 1/2 a chicken taken off the bone and brown up, set aside and deglaze pan with little white wine, add a 1/3 C or so of homemade chicken stock and one finely chopped sundried tomato, reduce, add chicken back in with several tablespoons of fresh herbs chopped over top--basil and parsley mainly--and cook until liquid is absorbed). Pretty good for fast and improvised, served over noodles.

I made a comparison to cheese.

Me too... generating electronic drawings gets tedious after awhile... I 'need' to make 7 control wiring diagrams right now... how exciting...

I milled and turned some hydraulic pistons that act as shocks for the front suspension of these trucks.
Berkin' A, I've centerless ground the hinge pins for the dump bed and the pins for the hydraulic rams to lift said bed. 8)
And I worked on the redesign of the hydraulic system for the wheel loaders that put stuff in those trucks.

I helped build the wheel-loader. Actually, Im in logistics, but I go on the floor and put some bolts in with some buddies when I get bored. We build the smaller version of that.
i made sore knees playing baseball then blew off work.
I made beer at work, then I went home and made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and collard greens from the garden.
Made windows darker by tinting a jeep 2 door and a toyota camry .Tom made the heads on a 302 shiny on the inside holes that will go in our challenge car . Took pik of former challenge cars that we might bring to challenge . Made reservations at challenge hotel . Made a tearoff shipped it to tennesee . Making plans for wednesday to go pick up a truck load of campaign signs on the east coast , maybe hit up grm hq on way home .
I made a piston stop out of a 3/8 extension and some duct tape. My timing seems better now.

Didn't make, but made work. Fixed the ice maker that's been non functional for the last few months the other night. Turned out the feed hose had frozen up. Now I have to get used to the sound of ice dropping in the bin again
What did I make? An appointment for a job interview tomorrow at a tech company on the other side of the mountain. Interview process will last about 3 hours, when it is done I will know if I have the job and if I do I start Monday.

I work on 3516 engines like the wheel loaders have, only stationary and converted to natural gas.
I made $240 and ~5k copper plasma cutter nozzles, but then I do that every day. The thrill was still there when production topped 11k per shift.
I made 3 neon signs and a shadow box prototype for the air force to go with the navy, army and marines

I work on the hydraulics of the large mining trucks. I routed some fluid lines today
I made the miracleous feat of making the wife AND mother in law "happy" on the same day. Best part was I didn't spend a dime of my money, only the wifes'.

I made a very professional-looking translation of a German vehicle registration document and several more pieces of paper to satisfy customs "officials." For myself I made a rather pronounced headache.
Fitted the pedal assembly, brake cables and fender supports in the packard today.
