You open your door to find a meal sitting there? No knock. I was just going outside to look at something for the 351W and find this. Opened it up and no receipt or anything.

First I triaged it. Drink cold but watered down. I'll call that a total loss. Double patty bacon cheeseburger luke warm. Deemed edible. Fries and chicken nuggets cold. Ate the bacon cheeseburger as found. Was good. No need to visit the Navy bathroom yet. Chicken nuggets thrown in microwave. About to consume for the sake of science.
I'd give the nuggets a 3 out of 10. Passable for a kid under 10 that hasn't learned that the adults keep the good food to themselves. Also seems they mixed two batches? Obviously half off them were overcooked.
I'm full now and thank the gods of the porch food for my manna this evening. I put up the fries to see if they can be saved tomorrow.
Currently dosing my stomach with alcohol to ward off any bad germs.

Some things may be better left un-known..
Passed the one hour mark. Still good. Not sure what I'll do with the fries but I think I want to transform them somehow. Update tomorrow.

Chili cheese fries in the oven. Or French fry nachos. Or, grilled chicken and French fries in a salad.
French fries will be good in the air fryer. Rallye's always had above average fries, at least when hot, not Five Guys or Wendy's level but edible.
I'm thinking some hungry soul ordered that Checkers "dinner" from Doordash... then received a message that said food is here.
And currently they are assuming it was stolen when in reality the driver left it at the wrong address.
Or worse they entered their address incorrectly and they pay for food and NEVER get food.
Pepto on call? And/or your own crapper? I assume that as a prior service member you are prepared with TP and H20?
BTW, can I rejoin team Stampie for the 2024 Challenge? I can bring booze... :)

Make VERY certain where it came from before you go ad hug, kiss and thank the wife!
Do you not keep a food taster on staff? If the taster keels over after sampling the meal, you should avoid.
I've eaten the neighbors food multiple times. When we got back from the challenge there was a 2 day old bag of mcdonalds at the door, did not attempt. I try hard to catch the delivery person, and one time I ran it back to them but they're criminal aholes and she showed little to no gratitude that I took her food back there at 9pm so now I eat it or compost it. Have had chipotle, BK, KFC. Never anything good. Wish they would order something from a real place. They have almost every meal delivered
My rule is you can only use what's in the house but this is what I did.
Two medium fries diced into cubes
6 oz parmesan cheese
One shallot cut into thin rings
Panko bread crumbs
Little milk to add moisture
Coated bottom of pan with bacon grease. Poured mixture in and pressed down. Cooked on medium until slight crust formed. Put in oven 5 minutes at 350 and then finished on broil.
It's decent. Wish I had some ham to throw in.
Anyone saying that they would never eat something in that situation has never been poor and hungry. I know what I'm talking about. I've chewed milk.
In reply to Appleseed :
My brother (who lived under a bridge for a while) once told me that to save $$$ with instant mac and cheese you can leave out the butter or you can substitute water for the milk, but never both.
...meanwhile, my wife does that just for the health of it and the kids will grow up thinking that's fine.
Also, I would have totally eaten that free meal as long as there was a modicum of temperate variant from ambient.
