Don't ask why, embrace it and realize that if a subscription option that included a hotwheels or matchbox of a vehicle currently worth less than $15k were included with each issue that people would pay $150 a year for said subscription option.
My latest issue has a CTR on the cover, but the 1/64th EF DX hatch that came with it is the real kicker.
The toys included are less disturbing than when I first heard of the adult happy meals.
