It seems the flag was an intentional parody of the ISIS flag where the Arabic script was replaced with images of “adult toys”.

So it was hugely insulting just not in the way one would initially think.

Mainstream media, greed and fear OR automatic transmissions, ABS and traction control. Take your pick.

I'm not sure what part of the story I find most humorous. In my Facebook feed there are: A: People outraged ISIS supports Gay Pride

B: People outraged someone would mock ISIS with sex toys

C: People outraged children watching the parade saw images of sex toys

D: People outraged CNN showed either an ISIS flag or a sex toy flag.

This story seems to be the one recent piece of news that both conservatives and liberals are angry about.

As for what's ruining the country, people that don't yet realize the Onion is fake. I had several panicky older relatives share this story with a "See, I told you so" type comment

I'm already starting to regret voting NDP in Alberta. But I will tough it out, and in 4 more years we can throw them out if they are as awful as some people thought they would be.

They don't really affect me that much anyways. The only people that are sad are those who believe in trickle-down economics and are shills for corporations.
