Provincially, it's not a huge deal. You guys had a real problem with a government that was in power way too long.
For the Americans that care, the NDP is our socialist party. All Canadian political parties are left wing and somewhat socialist, but the NDP is the furthest left. Federally, they always have a personable, popular leader, and pie in the sky platforms that make no sense. Not that it matters, as they always are strong in the polls late in the leading party's term, but don't have enough substance to get through an election.

Wrong. It's Mock Chicken
I don't get it. People who say stuff I don't get are ruining this country. Remotely.
I'm going to say lobbyists are ruining our country.
People whining on Internet boards are ruining our country. If you're pissed off about something, put down the keyboard and go do something about it.

Coon Chicken Inn ruined this country long ago.....
Bro-country. Every time I hear one of these God awful songs about dragging some girl into a cornfield, getting drunk and diddling her in the back of a Silverado I want to drive a combine through the local radio station.

I think I once heard one of these god-awful songs, and it even sang about getting high. Takes pop-country to a whole new level of E36 M3tiness
personal debt clouds people's thinking way too much, letting them think too often that they need 'help/handouts' instead of 'discipline/good habits'.
this is both due to lack of money/financial education, and purposeful ignorance/entitlement on the borrower's part.
Kids these days, and that noise they're calling music!

This one picture seems to cover a lot of ground, Kanye, Taylor, "fashion" and MTV (I have no quarrel with whomever is top right):
EDIT: Oh, and maze haircuts. Do you know how confusing those things are?

That's what I was going to say. Especially politicians who become lobbyist.
Rent. Both the musical and the housing issue, is too damn high.
It doesn't help that I work in a college town with the 12th highest housing cost to income ratio in the country. A healthy vacancy rate is 5%, Ithaca is .5%. And the locals protest and fight every new attempt to build more housing.
