I've seen one here in western North Carolina.  Couldn't get decent photo's or would have posted here to ask what it was.  Now I know!  Thanks GRM family.

I have spotted a few MV-1s running around the Tampa area. They are mostly operated by the county transportation authority or private shuttle companies. I always wondered why somebody never cornered the market on wheelchair accessable vehicles. Sure, there are a ton of companies that will modify an existing vehicle but none are made from the ground up. I guess it's easier and cheaper to modify an existing vehicle than to build one from scratch and have it still meet federal crash and safety standards.

Ive seen a couple running around northern CA too. Cool to see a niche vehicle like that. Crown Vic mechanicals ensure it'll run until the heat death of the solar system. I'd say it's a modern day Checker Marathon
