These are the guts out of a coffee maker. Not very complicated at all. I want to use a different heat source which means I need to extend or replace what is apparently the high temperature food safe rubber tubing that contains the check valve which is the only important part in the long run. Anyone have any idea where to track this down?

McMaster links don't work very well because of how their site works, but click Tubing>Plastic and Rubber Tubing for Flow and scroll down to Clear Soft Tubing for Food, Beverage, and Dairy, click, and get to measuring and browsing.

I've had an idea for a while about how hot headers are...........

As an aside. I think I just found my source of decent brake bleeder hose as well. Life is good.

I've actually had some success with this book. Works better on cars from before plastic-covers-on-everything...

That's probably Teflon and McMaster is a great place to buy it.

You'll need to log in to post.
