What is this?

I ask because I do not know.  Maybe someone here can help.

I find these from time to time laying on the ground.  And I just want to know what it is.  

It's a data module from one of the pigeon surveillance drones. Once they are ejected from the pigeon the government sends remote control rats to collect them for analysis. 
 

Actually, it's the modern equivalent of cigarette butts, a used up vape cartridge.

Another one.  Again, I do not know what this is.  Found it in a box of junk and this was the only thing that was machine like.  The expired HF coupon is credit card sized.
