What (loud, cheap, fast, nasty, RWD) Car?

I had a '65 Jeep J300 a while ago that kinda fit the bill. The (2) 3" exhaust came out in the rocker panel area on the box just before the rear wheel, and with 6" or 8" of lift and 35"s on it, it would spray exhaust right into a civics widow in traffic. The Mopar big block 400 sounded great before we sold it.

My vote would be a '73 Riviera. I saw one a few years ago that had been dropped, shiny black, dark tints, nice wheels. Gorgeous and nasty.

This is kind of one of the ideas have been having for my Olds. That being said, something in the G/A body line of GMs can be made quite nasty and made to handle quite well. I would say try and find something other than the usual Montes or Regals. I also had my '78 Camaro setup in a very similar fashion and most got out of its way.

Oh and someone mentioned the old "air shocks" both my Camaro and El Camino had them, kinda fun to be able to change the stance of the car while at the gas station.

Between this thread and my morning's clutch maladies...I'm seriously thinking about the '82 Mercury Marquis (I don't recall if it was "Grand" that year or not) 2 door that I saw for sale in a local parking lot.

A 2 door panther with a big block would make a sinister hooligan car. Not that they came with a big block, but I'm sure that's trivial. (I realize it's not in your year range...)

I don't know if it was said but my first car was a 77 ford LTD 2dr. I put a 460 under the hood it bolted right in. some had them from the factory but most had the 351M or 400M. I had flex pipe out the sides. put air shocks on it and used a hammer on the quarters to fit 255/60R15s on the back. most evil car ever.

This, + a can of matte black spray paint - bumper - grille + black steelies + mild cam + big carbs - muffler = ta-da!

I had a 1973 Lincoln Mark III in high school that I nearly completely forgot about.

You remember the most important thing then. Other than that, it was candy apple red, had a police push bar on the front, some cheap chrome steel rims, and green neons underneath. The last one I could do without.

Probably not cheap, definitely not just RWD, but would scare the HELL out of anyone who saw it in the review.

Funny thing is I know of a guy that has 15 Dodge Daytonas and Plymouth Superbirds stock piled in his barn. Nothing like millions of dollars in Mopars in your barn. Oh and he has one that is his daily driver.
