I know, they're a good sponsor. Believe me I really want to support them. But right now, somebody needs to FIX IT.
I used to enjoy Ebay a lot. I live in a rural Southern community, and love quirky foreign cars. Tough mix. Junk yards won't let you on the premises out of fear that you'll report them for their overwhelming EPA issues, it's pretty hard to find anything around other than overpriced '80's vintage Shovelays, and most of the people only understand racing that has no right turns, or 1320' at a time. Ebay had really become a primary source for me for parts, projects, etc.
But it just isn't working any more. There's a billion sellers, all selling crap, and buyers seem to understand that the only way to get what you are looking for is to snipe someone else's bid. Just not how I want to focus my efforts.
I've tried CL. They're good, but too localized. It's hard to satisfy my quirky tastes in one city at a time.
What else is out there? Are there other auction sites large enough to have much variety?

Do a global craigslist search. Just type site:craigslist.org before the item you are searching for in google. There needs to be a space between the org and item,
like this:
site:craigslist.org jaguar speedometer
What's supposed to happen when I do this? I thought it might limit the results to CL sites, but it appears to be very similar result to if I typed the same info into a search engine
damn auto correct..
type in google the follow
"in" "site:" "craigslist(dot)org" jaguar speedometer
without the quotation marks
example
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=vnE&q=in+site%3Acraigslist.org+jaguar+speedometer&btnG=Search&aq=f&oq=
You could also use Craig's Helper.. The developer even posted here on the old board. It's a good Craig's List aggregator that I use to hunt down Miata parts in driving distance of my home.
Another option is using a marquee specific board. I've used Miata.net and miataturbo.net for my parts shopping in past days. Let me correct that...miataturbo.net, while incredibly informative and full of great parts, is also full of arseholes. I haven't shopped there much in the last 8 mo's or so. While I'll cruise miata.net for parts very frequently.

Crazedlist is a good site to try out. It lets you specify which regional Craigslists you want to search and then collates the results on one page.

I'm not sure if you're trying to subtly imply something, but your link to Craig's Helper goes to this:
