This is what we ended up with. It's GE's high end brand. I would have been more that happy with the $500 one, but she picked it out and paid for it. I didn't even know refrigerators had french doors.
This thing also flashes at me when I walk past it in the middle of the night, asking me if I want some ice water with crushed ice. She says it likes me. It probably talks too.
