With any luck, people will come to this thread to say things about living in Colorado.

I will concur with this. Philadelphia, NYC and the entire of Northern Virginia have worse traffic than Colorado or Norway.
Any time I think the Dallas/Ft. Worth area has bad traffic I go visit my older sister in Chicago. By the time I get back the traffic doesn't seem so bad.
I always thought Miami, TX had the absolute worst traffic...just didn't want to say it in the CO thread....
When I lived in Aurora, CO the traffic seemed much better than when I lived in Dallas and often drove through Austin on the way to Houston. None of that compares to when I commuted from the Northern burbs in Chicago to downtown (and had to have a car for the job). I've driven the chicago loop and mixed it up with cabbies daily (counted as international/mediterranian experience). I'm not sure a commute/traffic would even be an issue on deciding where to live anymore.
Oh yeah - the views just rock in CO. hour and 1/2 to Winter Park - an hour to Colorado Springs/Pike's Peak, no helicopter-sized mosquitoes, 300 days/year with sunshine. They don't salt the roads. It's a casual place - not a suit & tie kinda place. Active lifestyle = fit womens. Come to think of it - why am I in Illinois???
The worst traffic in Texas I've encountered lately was on the Emerald Coast east of Pensacola where all those condos are. DO NOT take the beach road!
Wasn't Boulder known as a big time cocaine usage area at one time?
I believe Mork and Mindy was supposed to be in Boulder... that would explain a few things...
...of course, I believe it is also common knowledge that Mr Williams was a user of the coke... which might explain his recent heart surgery...
Whatever happen to Mindy you say?
Married to Mark Harmon don't you know:
