winner winner chicken dinner! thanks DSW.
Yeah, definitely Lane. Have a ton of pictures I still haven't uploaded from when we went to Nashville last year.
Check out the Yazoo brewery tour.............the wife and I want to go back just bring back cases of their different brews, GREAT stuff. The Fritz museum was cool, if you're into that kind of stuff.
Taco Mamacita's and Whiskey Kitchen were some decent places to get grub, and as you can imagine, the Whiskey Kitchen has a pretty decent selection of hooch.

Thanks. It's an awesome museum. David Yando, their manager, is a fan of GRM and regular Mitty attendee.

Jack Daniels distillery is just south of Nashville, that was an interesting and fun tour.

X2. I gave up booze and still enjoy the tour. George Dickel is another refinery nearby.
Go see the new Nissan HQ AND the Dave Ramsey office building in Brentwood. Tour the State capital. Go to that country music place. Go see Opryland hotel.
Go to Cracker Barrel. Go to Bob Evans for breakfast.
I saw a show at the Grand Ole Oprey last visit. Best concert ever and I'm not really even a country fan. But they have more of them at the new one whose name I forget now I think. Maybe the Oprey is reserved for winter when crowds are smaller.

Jack Daniels is about an hour from Nashville but it is an awesome. The Lane Motor Museum is beyond awesome so is the Corvette Museum. George Dickel is ok but I don't think I would drive out of my way to go see it. Going down to Broadway is fairly fun. Lots of bars although a number of them focus on Country music.
I was just in Nashville on vacation last week!
Don't bother going to the Tennessee State Fair. It sucks.
If you want an awesome restaurant to eat at, I recommend the Aquarium Restaurant at the Opryland Mills mall.
And you should definitely check out the honky-tonk bars downtown, Coyote Ugly and Buck Wild in particular.
BB King's, especially if Stacey Mitchhart and his band are playing.
Oh in Bowling Green, Macino's and Buckheads are both pretty decent lunch places (hot sandwiches and pizzas and the like). I also like 440 Main and Mariahs.
When we were there, we went to Tootsies, and saw a couple of guys from Oklahoma............weird to drive 600+ miles only to see a band from your home area.
that happened to me when I was in the Navy ... as we were heading to Viet Nam we stopped off in Pearl Harbor ... the only liberty that was allowed that night was to the EM club... the band playing there that night was from a town just down the road from me ... small world ....
i just found out about the 7th Annual Redneck Rumble in Lebanon TN this weekend, a t the James E Ward Agricultural Center on Baddour Pkwy.
